Import Duties & Taxes

At Coccoloba, we believe in being transparent with our customers. 💛

All orders are shipped from Venezuela. As an international shipment, your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country's customs authorities.

Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, and fees that may apply. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance procedures.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Customs regulations and import requirements vary by country and may change without notice. Coccoloba has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.

Refused or Returned Packages

If applicable import duties, taxes, or customs fees are not paid by the customer, the package may be refused, abandoned, held by customs, or returned to us by the carrier.

Please understand that international shipments generate costs for our business regardless of whether the package is accepted or refused. These costs may include outbound shipping, return shipping, customs processing fees, handling fees, and other carrier-related charges.

For this reason, orders returned due to unpaid import duties, taxes, or customs fees are not eligible for a refund to the original payment method under any circumstances.

Once the returned package is received and inspected, we may issue store credit for the value of the products only. Any shipping costs, return shipping charges, customs fees, duties, taxes, and other related expenses are non-refundable and may be deducted from the store credit amount when applicable.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and accept responsibility for any applicable import duties, taxes, and customs fees.
